This is for the Fix My Pic Please Group. From a very interesting original by wolf_leb_1983 titled, wawww.
I used the Polygonal Lasso tool to select the helicopter. Because of the very linear construction, that tool works very well. I copied the selected portions to a few layers, and added contrast, and multiply mode for detailing. I added a new sky on a seperate layer, and applied this as "multiply" blending mode...this allows you to maintain the nice textures that are already there, and bring in the new color too. I tweak the flag as well.
